Half the students in New Canaan Public Schools will attend in-person classes at a time when school starts Aug. 31 according to a four-part Aug. 31 to Sept. 17 reopening plan that was first announced in July, though several changes have come since then.
The plan calls for part-time school in the first phase then to have students shift to a hybrid model of both in-school and remoting learning, then return to all-day school.
